Job Title: Permanent Nanny
Location: Wedmore near the Mendip Hills ( Approx 10 minutes from Cheddar)
Start date: End of March if possible ( some flexibility)
Salary: Negotiable dependent on experience
Children: Girl aged 2 years
Days/hours: 2 or 2.5 days per week – Can be flexible but not a Wednesday. Full day hours are 8:30am – 4:30pm and 1/2 day would be around 12pm – 5pm. These hours are approx and the family can be flexible.
Please note: Extra hours could be offered for babysitting on an adhoc basis
Additional information
- A background in teaching or experience working in a Montessori setting would be desirable but not essential
- Standard nanny duties required
- Knowledge of the local area would be helpful
- Nanny will need own vehicle due to rural location but may be able to use the family car for work purposes if its available.
- Family have one large friendly dog
Job Description: Our client is looking to find a lovely bubbly nanny to join their family. They have recently moved to the area and would like someone who can support them on a part time basis. Both parents work however the mother is able to be flexible in terms of what days the nanny is able to offer ( apart from a Wednesday).
The parents would like the nanny to create a fun and stimulating environment for their little girl. They are keen for her to explore the local area and be involved in activities to help encourage her development. The family live in a beautiful area so a love of the outdoors is essential. This is a great part time position in a fantastic location.
Job requirement
- A minimum of 3 years employed nanny or childcare experience preferably with similar aged children.
- Must be willing to attend a registration interview either in person or via online (to be discussed individually) to ensure all documents can be checked.
- DBS Enhanced – on the update system or willing to update
- 12 hours Paediatric first aid training – valid or willing to update
- Full valid driving license (driving record will be checked)
- Valid Passport
- Excellent checkable references from recent & current employment (minimum 2) who can be contacted immediately.
